Ice, Ice, baby!

So we FINALLY got to go see the ICE show at the Gaylord Texan. I say finally because we have been wanting to go every year but we just never seem to make it. We went with our good friends Ben and Tracy and an awesome time. I'll let the pictures do the talking! All of it is made out of ice! Merry Christmas to everyone!

Sweet Symba

The holidays just arn't going to be the same this year without sweet Symba. December 7th, Allen's dog of 12 years passed away. She was so sweet, loving, and smart! She definitely taught my dachshund a thing or two! We are so thankful she had such a good long life and she was VERY loved. We miss her everyday.

Not so "baby" brother!

November 11th my baby brother turned 18!! I still can't believe it! Ethan and I were very close growing up so watching him grow up has just been crazy! We normally would go out to celebrate such an occasion but due to my mom's recent back surgery we had a little party at her house. Good food, yummy cake, family, and of course presents (Ethan's favorite part! Some things never change!) Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving Holiday!

A big Happy Birthday to our adorable niece and nephew! These cuties are only 4 days apart and just celebrated the big 2! It really is amazing how time flies.

Averi had a super cute shoe themed party because she loves shoes of course! Complete with shoe suckers and a flip-flop cake. Mandi is just so stinkin creative! I told her I'm gonna hire her for my next bash! Miss you and love you bunches!

Mateo had a fun filled birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. However, he was not to keen on the giant mouse who tried to hold him! Just like his Aunt, adults in big mouse costumes=scary! All he wanted to do was play "basetball" so that is exactly what we did!

I know I know...I'm a horrible blogger! In my defense things have been a little crazy around here! The school year has started off great and I can't believe it's almost October!

Well as most of you know Allen's brother Aaron and his wife Ashley welcomed Elli Kate into the world on August 17th. We couldn't be more excited! As soon as we could (which was not soon enough for us!)we packed up the car to go see baby Elli and the rest of the family. We love, love, love seeing everyone and hate it when we have to leave:( Love you guys and can't wait until next time! Here are some pics of our great weekend:)

Still trying to catch up! It seems like forever ago (because it was!) but I have to post some pictures of our July 4th! We went to my mom's for some swimming, good food, and of course to set off some fireworks! Allen was so cute! Getting so excited to blow stuff up!
